Our Smart Natural wool fabric collection for upholstery was presented together with Collaborario’s Cubile day bed at the Habitare Fair 2024. Habitare is the leading furniture, design and interior event in the Nordics. Our booth was in the Neighbours’ area, curated by Ulla Koskinen and Anna Pirkola. The area featured the Neighbours’ exhibition and a block of company booths and provided an opportunity to explore the diversity of homes and different ways of everyday living.
With the cooperation project, Bonden and Collaboratorio wanted to create a resting place with a changing purpose. Cubile is a wooden divan that can be transformed from a bed into a divan and, if desired, into a sofa by adding cushions. You can also add a table to Cubile, which makes it a multi-purpose resting place ideal for small spaces. Cubile is upholstered with Bonden’s dirt and water-resistant 100% Finnish lambwool fabric from our Smart Natural upholstery fabric collection.
Bonden and Collaboratorio share a common goal: to create aesthetically pleasing living environments that meet the needs of the people living in them, using natural and ecological materials. Friends are important, especially ones that share our values, which is why we thoroughly enjoyed working on this project together with Kristiina Kuusiluoma and Martino de Rossi from the architecture studio Collaboratorio. We also had great neighbours in the Asun magazine section, which provided not only an impressive setting, but also memorable encounters with visitors and other exhibitors.
Our collaborative project was featured in the 10th anniversary issue of the Asun interior design magazine.
